Using the novelty voice recorder made famous by the hit movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, 5-year-old Christopher produced his own radio shows, created sound effects, and documented family trips on cassette tapes.
Eleven years later in 2014, Christopher boom operated on his first short film. Following the success of this production, he was asked to record sound on numerous productions throughout New York state, rapidly growing his reputation. By 2015, Christopher was working on feature films and quickly became the most in-demand narrative sound person in the area. Christopher has continuously pushed his abilities and is proud of his many achievements. These include simultaneously recording and mixing 7 lavalier microphones for an unscripted courtroom documentary-drama, boom operating 15+ minute single-take scenes for a feature film that required precise cross-department collaboration, and recording the sound of an MMA stunt-coordinated cage fight for a feature film involving multiple Steadicams. In 2019, Christopher was invited to join and is now a proud member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees — Local 52.
Christopher has experience recording sound for productions in multiple languages — including English, German, Japanese, and Portuguese — in America and Europe. His deep passion for storytelling and ability to envision the big picture makes him an invaluable asset to any type of production. He continues to explore new horizons in sound production, including virtual reality and binaural sound production.
Christopher began to seriously develop his sound knowledge and abilities in 2007 when he began producing and hosting his first radio program on WTSC in Potsdam, New York. He would later earn a bachelor of science degree in Communications from the New England School of Communications (Husson University) in Bangor, Maine, where he also broadcasted on WHSN-FM. During his time at WHSN-FM, Christopher earned two awards from the Maine Association of Broadcasters: 2nd place for Specialty Programs (Election coverage) in 2010 where he was a contributing producer, and 1st place for Radio Creative Self-Promotion in 2011 which he wrote, produced, and partially voiced himself.
After his studies, Christopher became the executive producer of a morning radio program in Syracuse, New York. During this time, Christopher worked with high-profile celebrities and athletes (laying a foundation of professionalism still exhibited today), hosted concerts and events, and represented the radio station for numerous sponsorships. In addition to his work with the morning show, he also produced commercials and was an on-air personality on several stations.
Christopher’s radio experience is still very present in his sound endeavors today. He continues to pursue his goals to educate, entertain, and build a better world utilizing the endless possibilities of sound.
